Inspired to start blogging again after I was given a task to do blog for Cayden's school. I had been missing for the past two years and I hope to blog for my baking & cooking.

First Post of 2011

Times fly.... It been long long time I stopped my blogging because of facebook..... :) This will be my first post of the year 2011... I will try to post more often when I am free. Stay Tuned.

Change of Environment

It is more than a month since I last blog. Times fly.... I had change my job last month and now in Construction company doing HR. From Jurong Estate I had moved on to Town area. Environment is a great changed for me. Got to squeeze mrt everyday to and fro.

I always in the manufacturing industry and construction industry is really so much different of what I used to do. The environment here is totally different too. Dealing with the site people can be very challenging. I guess site people are more rough. Just pray hard I can slowly adapt this challenging work.

After hearing this from the teacher, I just can't stop laughing.. Didn't expect he to reply this to the teacher. Actually, I had been preparing bread for him to school recently and I bought the bread at NTUC with him together each time. So I guess, that is why he asked his teacher to buy at NTUC... hahahahahah

Short Trip for the coming June holiday

I had just confirmed a short trip to Johor Bahru, farm stay on Vesak Day with Amy & family. It been so long since the last travelling with her was at 5 years ago. We are so excited and looking forward to the trip. Another short trip with my parent to Batam is on 5 June 2010. Can't wait man..

My Surprise Gift

COACH WRISTLET

I was shock and surprise when I open the present. It was my sister inlaw who brought me a Coach wristlet and passed it to me on my actual day. It was so nice of her and thanks Suling for your wonderful gifts. I really liked it very much and will sure treasure it!

Dr Eric Kwek 永在怀念中！

I was shocked by the news..... My family doctor Dr Eric Kwek had passed away....

Actually got this news from one of my friend who also visited him & she saw the news in the newspaper on 16 Apr and break the news to me. I knew about his fall, his illness since last year, and always send regards to his wife whenever I visited his clinic. Mrs Kwek told me that he is recovering well & didnt I expect the condition become worsen. He is a good doctor who is always patient to me & give me many motherly advice on what to give my kids & what shouldn't which others doctor won't bother at all. He once send my son repeated medication to my house late in the evening, as to save my hassle from going to his clinic. We will always remember him, remember his kindness & patient towards us. Dr Eric Kwek，永在怀念中!

Away to Thailand~Phuket

Visit to Rashida's House

Is another visiting affair at Rashida's house again after few months. As usual, she cooked delicious meal for us and same the kids fight again over the toys and Lufang as usual brought alot of things for us. hahahah Even though, we still enjoyed ourself very much that day. Lastly, that's the Pandan Chiffon Cake I bake for Rashida.

Bundle of Joy

Heard about my ex-boss Yurina good news few months ago, knowing that she is pregnant. She told me is a baby boy going to due on Jan 2010. As she is a Japanese, they have a traditional way of doing. That is going to Tokyo DisneyLand to let the Mickey Mouse touch the tummy of the pregnant woman. This will help her to get a smooth delivery. I am really happy for her to find her Mr Right and now she going to be a mother soon. I will pray for her to have a smooth delivery with a healthy boy. Yeah!

Genting Trip

I went to Genting with my family during the Sep'09 School holiday. We stay there for three days and two nights by coach. Depart Singapore on Thursday morning @ around 7.30am and reach Genting @ 2pm. We had to wait for the hotel check in and only manage to get our keys at 4pm. What a long waiting..... We went to have our late lunch before proceed to Hotel. After that, we shop around at the first world hotel shopping mall. Then we went back to had a bath and the kids were too tired and fall asleep very quickly after the milk. We had KFC for our dinner. The guys went ahead to the casino and Suling & I proceed to our shopping. Not long after that, the shop started to close one by one. And we plan to come back again to shop tomorrow.

The next day, we had free breakfast at Resort Hotel. After that, we proceed to buy tickets to outdoor and indoor theme park. The kids are having fun especially Chloe and she wanted to try everything that is in the park. We adults ended up more tired then them. We spend 5 hours for outdoor theme park and 2 hours for indoor theme park. It rain just right after we finish our outdoor games. Heng ah.... Suling and I shop for awhile and then we all proceed to have dinner down the hill of Genting. (Just 5mins for first world hotel). There is free transport to & fro from first world hotel. The food was nice and price is reasonable. We headed back to rest after the dinner.

Today is our last day in Genting. We wake up about almost 10am and then headed downstair and had roti prata for breakfast. After which, rest awhile and check out hotel. We went to starbuck for coffee while waiting for the transport to come. It was time to say goodbye and it started to rain while we travel down the slope. I having a tough time, feeling very giddy throughout the whole journey home. Guess must be the turning and turning make me feel like that and the bus is a little old and squeezy compare to what we had earlier.

Family Shooting @ Bridal Zone

Went for my long waiting family shooting. We introduce friends & relatives to our bridal shop where we used last time. Bcos of their reasonable price and good service, we recommend many of our friends & relatives there and so we got this free... 1pc of family shooting with frame. Was quite happy with the pictures and finally chosen and now in process of waiting for the master piece.

Gathering with my ex-collegues

I had planned this gathering almost one month before hand. Only Yeefung cant make it so we had to opt her out for this gathering and go ahead with our plan. I am very anxious to see them and it been one year I had never see them le. Finally the day arrived, I saw Helen the first one with her big tummy. She is expecting a baby gal and I brought her some baby clothes and also brought my homemade cookies for all of them. Teresa also brought all of us a pkt of cookies. We had steamboat for our lunch and then we went to cafe for chit chat. It wasnt a very long gathering but we still enjoyed ourself very much. Guess we got to wait till September to see them again as Helen will be deliver her baby gal by then.

We had lunch over at Rashida's house for a small gathering with Lufang. She cooked her signature dish curry chicken, fried fish, fried chicken & lady finger. I brought some cookies and muffins over for her. We chat alot and the two kids kept fighting over the toys. When we separate them, both cried. Haiz..... really can't stand both of them... They make us laughed and make us angry. Rashida made a beads handbag for me. It is nice and unique and I decided to use it as a keychain. Thanks gal, you are always the best.

My dangsao booked the chalet at East Coast Park last minute as the Aloha Changi called her up and said that her booking had to be cancelled due to the Swine Flu. She had no choice but to book the chalet at East Coast Park as she had already informed her guests. Everything went smoothly and I went earlier to the Chalet to help out with Helium balloon. After the setting up of the buffet, the security over at that side mention that each table cost additional of $11 and $2 for each chair. It was ridiculous, everything was chargable even though we paid for the chalet. My dangsao swear that she will never ever booked this chalet anymore.
