My two favourite ~ Wax Duck & Yu Sheng

This is the two type of food “I Must” eat during Chinese New Year. I can only get to see & eat these during Chinese New Year. One is Yusheng (鱼生) another one is Wax Duck (腊鸭).

I always buy 3 ~ 4 pieces of Wax Duck Leg (腊鸭腿) from Chinatown and will eat it slowly during the Chinese New Year period. Trust me, don’t buy from your neighbourhood shopping mall or supermarket, Chinatown one is still the best.

As for Yusheng (鱼生), I eat it from my different relative’s house during the visiting. I will also buy the Yusheng (鱼生) from my cousin catering, or various Chinese & Japanese restaurant from Jurong Point if my friends visiting my house.

Disney Cookies Cutter

I brought these 2 cookies cutter moulds @ $8.90 each at BHG Bugis. Internet is selling @ $14.90 each. What a great different! I bake about 100pcs of butter cookies for Cayden's goodies bags. The dough is soft so you got to put into the fridge at least half an hour before you can start using the cutter to cut out the shape. The biscuits turn out to be nice & not to sweet. Thumbs up for me. Maybe can give it a try to sell the goodies bags online. Hahahaha

Doctor Fish Spa - First Experience

Went to IMM with my bro & sis inlaw yesterday. Happen to saw this Doctor Fish Spa @ $5 for 10mins and wanted to try it. Chloe was excited too and wanted to try out. So the stall assistant advise that I just paid for 1 person and let Chloe tried out first as the stall assistant said that eventually the kids will back out. True enough, Chloe dare not put her leg into the pool. Hahahaha...

My turn to put my leg in. Infact quite scary to see the fishes attacking your leg even before your leg is going down. I felt very tickish but just endure. Was quite tense too and slowly the tense was gone and I actually enjoyed it. It was a great experience and will want to go again next time.

I just upgrade my mobile phone yesteryday from Samsung to Sony Ericsson. Is my first time using Sony Ericsson and is quite friendly using. And since my contract is due, I decided to upgrade it. Thanks Suling for introducing this phone to me and I actually got the same mobile phone as her. We wanted to buy the accessories of this mobile phone and yet the salesgirl said our mobile phone is too new that the accessories is not out yet. Hahahahaha....

I went to The Line @ Shangri-La Hotel with my sis-inlaw Suling . We had lunch buffet there for $45++ per pax. It was a international spread with many variety of food. There are Indian cusine, Japanese cusine, Local & Western food, & many mores. After food, we went shopping at Takashimaya, Istean Scott & Far East Plaza to shop for Xmas gifts and CNY clothes. Both of us went home happily with many shopping bags and also a BIG hole in our pocket.

Shave Ice @ 夏日雪

My husband brought me to NTU canteen 2 today as he wanted me to try out this very nice dessert that he came across last week. The store name is 夏日雪and he order for me this champagne grape with mango & nata de coco. It was nice & yummy, something different from what I used to eat at any other hawker centre. Indeed it was a good recommend from him. Thanks hubby!

Anti-Blister

Happen to saw this anti-blister from LingC blog and didn't know there was this kind of thing exist. I always had blister problem the moment I wear new shoe, pasting alot of plaster all over my leg. So I decided to buy this and give it a try. It works, so far so good. Guess I will not have blister problem again. Thanks LingC for your recommend!
