Actually got this news from one of my friend who also visited him & she saw the news in the newspaper on 16 Apr and break the news to me. I knew about his fall, his illness since last year, and always send regards to his wife whenever I visited his clinic. Mrs Kwek told me that he is recovering well & didnt I expect the condition become worsen. He is a good doctor who is always patient to me & give me many motherly advice on what to give my kids & what shouldn't which others doctor won't bother at all. He once send my son repeated medication to my house late in the evening, as to save my hassle from going to his clinic. We will always remember him, remember his kindness & patient towards us. Dr Eric Kwek，永在怀念中!

Yes, I was shocked to hear the news Dr Eric Kwek Soon Kiat passed away. I only came to know the news today 20/04/2010. I was heard from one of my motor industries ex-colleague Eric Kwek Soon Kiat passed away. (Life is so short). I came to know Dr Eric Kwek during my late army reservist when he was my camp unit HQ14SIB Medical Officer (MO) in Selarang Camp in 1998. From there, I have visited him at his clinic at Taman Jurong shopping centre several times. I always remembered him, he is a car enthusiast. In around 2000, I have served him several times when he visited Komoco Hyundai showroom to see cars. He is always very soft spoken, helpful and a good doctor. It was Sad, he just left us so sudden and I didn't got the chance to attend his funeral or wake to pay my last respect. RIP Dr Eric Kwek, you will always remembered for your nice personality and kindness had in you.
Thanks for dropping by.... Till now I still cant accept he left us just like that... My kids had been visiting him for the past 7 yrs and there isnt any doc who I can trust and rely on. Indeed life is short.... Me too didnt had the chance to attend his wake as I only know one week later after he passed away.
A dear friend of mine shared Dr. Kwek's story with me and although I do not know him personally, his story still sadden me. He is definitely a great lost to mankind. However, his kindness, compassion, and dedication would always be fondly remembered by the hearts of people he had touched.
