A good Experience

Yesterday was my bro-in-law, Jack Solemnization wedding at Furma Hotel. I was told to do the Chinese host for him by his sister, Jenny just few days before the day. Was very excited about it and nervous as I had no experience in doing that. Jenny then forward me the english version script and I had to translate into Chinese.


On the actual day, we reach there about 11am. I am Jenny went there and busy discuss on the co-ordination. Both of us was Kancheong and we stand at the side of the stage busy rehearsal the script. Finally it was time for the Solemnization to begin. Nothing went wrong and it was very smoothly and at last it was over. I am quite happy with my performance and so do Jenny. My husband give us a rating of 7 & 9 out of 10. 7 for m, 9 for his sister. As I am the first time doing host, really not bad liao. Have to thanks the couple for giving us this great opportunity & good memories.

Last saturday, went to Raffles City to meet my friend for Lunch. While waiting for the shop to open as we are early, I , my daughter and my friend passby a Donut shop. We will curious to see people in queue so we decided to queue up. We start queuing at about 11.10am. They will busy preparing the Donut and the shop is not yet open. As we are not too far away from the queue, I estimated the most can get to buy the Donut by 12.30pm.

Time passes, and is 1pm and I am still in the queue. I wonder whether is that they cant produce the donut in time, or the service is slow. The movement is very slow. I end up getting my donut at 2.30pm. OH MY GOD!! I cant believe I queue up for 3 hours. What a day! The donut is soft but you must eat it while is still hot.

My Birthday

My dad brought me & my family & my mum to JB for a one day trip on 29 Apr. We had our yong tau hu for our breakfast at JB. After that, we all went for a haircut which my dad always visit when he finish his golf every sunday. It is cheap and the service are much more better than Singapore. Even my girl also enjoy the cutting and shampooing. When we all finish the haircut, my dad brought us to the nearby seafood to had our lunch. Finally after our lunch, we heading to JUSCO at Tebaru City. I brought many baby stuff and not forgetting the Thai Massage in the shopping mall. When we finish our shopping and massage, we eat our dinner inside the shopping mall before ending our JB trip. Everyone is exhausted. We reached Singapore about 9.30pm. Luckily there was no jam. Everything went smoothly and we all enjoyed ourself.

I recevied many presents from my friends & family. I had Robinson voucher & photo album from my friends, bag from my bro-in-law & T&Co Ring from my sis-in-law. WOW the ring is the best present I ever had. It was very expensive and my sis-in-law really generous to buy me that. She also brought one herself as we both liked the ring very much. She said is a form of pampering herself and pampering me. So nice of her. My husband asked to go and buy the things that I like, so i brought some clothes for myself. We had lunch with sis-in-law & bro-in-law at Crystal Jade Kitchen at Jurong Point on my birthday. To my surprise, my husband brought me a birthday cake which he had long time never did that liao. hehehe
