Seems like you have started collecting bento box and that's a good start :) Yes, Daiso is a must to go if you want to start on bento. Someof my things I got it through ebay as well. For the food, I make sure that it will taste alright even after a few hours as my girl take it for her recess.

Check out minitoons for affordable lunchboxes too! get those 2 tier ones so that you can pack fruits too. If you are a hello-kitty fan, there is a shop in chinatown pt #08-26 whereby you can get quite a good variety of bento-making stuff and sanrio stuff at a price slightly cheaper than in Sanrio shops. (wah~~ what a long sentence!)
oh.. another experience to share.. b4 you jump into the shopping part, maybe you can get some essentials (depending on what you like to do for your bento. usually shape cutters, rice moulds, cute food picks) to try out one or two bentos. if you enjoy it, then you can start your crazy shopping, just like us!! hahahaha!!!~~~

Btw as i am a FTWM and need to leave house 6.30am in the morning, what are the recommend bento box for my gal to bring and eat during recess time. I actually wanted to do it the night b4. Do u think is OK?
